HOW TO: Check if VMware vShield driver is installed and running

  1. Login to the server
  2. Run msinfo32.exe
  3. Navigate to “Software Components“, “System Drivers“
  4. Check if the ‘vsepflt‘ / ‘VFileFilter‘ system driver is in the list and the state is ‘Running’
